58 poor families got help
2 families received help buying baby formula and diapers
In April 2015 ICH goes on working.
58 needy families (families of refugees from Ukraine among them) got assistance at ICH during the month of April. Two families received not only food and clothes, but also formula and diapers for children.
We also keep on working with disabled children – one of our volunteers, a musician, teaches them music and some new songs. Children love these meetings!
In April we started a new project for coaddicted women (whose husbands are addicted to alcohol or drugs). Women meet at the office once a week as a self-support group guided by a psychologist, they share their life stories and discuss problems as well as try to find ways to solve them.
Besides, volunteers of ICH began preparing for the traditional for us Celebrations of Light and Kindness for orphans and children with disabilities – they will take place at the end of May or beginning of June. Also we will have a Summer camp for orphans at the end of May – orphans and volunteers will spend 8 days together in the open air and will speak a lot about friendship, true love, teenage problems and other questions that are now essential for orphans.
Theatre group of ICH has just begun preparing for future Christmas project – they are discussing a new script, distributing the parts and thinking of costumes.
