20 needy families received food and clothes at ICHC

15 foster families attended a camp for families raising orphans

We continue to do “simple” charity that proves to be the most effective: we give food to people who don’t have anything to eat and pay for medications for families with sick children who can’t afford it.

In June we served according to a program called “Home Where Love Lives” that consists of several branches. At the present time three of them are the most active:
- helping needy families with food, hygiene items and diapers for babies (in June we helped 20 families);
- supporting adoptive families;
- helping families with sick kids pay for treatment, medication or therapy (two families received such assistance in June).

In mid June we organized a two-day camp for adoptive parents and their kids. 40 people, including 15 foster families, 17 adopted kids, 5 volunteers and 2 counselors, attended. The camp took place in a sport-recreation area called "Chekeril" not far from Izhevsk. Altogether families had training on parent-children relationships development, learning effective ways of parenting in difficult situations, had sessions of art-therapy and played games outside. Some received individual counseling if needed.

Our participants gave good feedback on every part of the event.

We are thankful to everyone who supports our ministry! We couldn’t have done it without you!

We hope we can do more! Join us helping those in need in Izhevsk!
