In May 2010 The International Center for Hope organized two big parties for orphans and disabled children. The Parties were traditional for ICH Celebrations of Light and Kindness – for the most merciful and kind kids fr om Orphanages of Izhevsk and families where disabled children are raised. The Celebrations have become annual events and a good tradition for volunteers and the staff of ICH as well as for the orphans: for 7 years already orphans have been visiting a special dacha in the country wh ere they face different competitions and “obstacles” in order to penetrate the Kingdom of Light and Kindness and prepare a gift to the Queen for her Birthday Party. Orphans make theatral sketches, take part in sport competitions, sing songs, dance and just have fun in the open air together with the volunteers. Every child gets a gift after the Party. The Celebration for the disabled children of Izhevsk has taken place since 2008.
