We work to help those who are hopeless.
People who need help are waiting for someone to assist.
You can get psychological help through the work of mutual- and self-support groups.
The International Center for Hope is always in a buzz during May because of the school year ending and "The Day of Light and Kindness" for handicapped children and moms and the regular "Day of Kindness" is held at Galina Alieva's Dacha. It is a full day of celebration for the families and for the orphans. The orphans are chosen fr om their peers at there orphanage as to being the kindest during that school year. On May 29th, "The Day of Light and Kindness was held. There were 16 children and their moms attended and visited a Kingdom of Light and Kindness where they met the King and the Queen. They all had a delicious meal and received lovely gifts. ICH volunteers organized games, contests, and dances for the children so they all had the opportunity to enjoy one another. In the end, the children and volunteers and staff released a huge ball in the shape of the Sun in the sky---and wished that every day would be filled with Sun, Light, and Kindness!
In the Middle of May, ICH and Republic Children's Home in Izhevsk, organized a joint project wh ere 23 orphans and 2 teachers attended the 3 day event. It was held at Camp Selychka. Our volunteers prepared an entertaining program with games, jokes and a discussion on the uniqueness of every person. We all are unique in that God made us all but none the same. Of course, there walks in the forest, sport's games, and storytelling. Bunches of fun for all. We are so blessed to work with these children and to show them God's Love and how to know Him.
We are still having meetings with volunteers who work with the boys and girls that have become older than allowed to live in the orphanages. This is the Club for Graduates from orphanages. Also meetings for Foster Parents and people that want to adopt a child.
ICH assisted 21 needy families with clothes, food packages and vitamins for the orphans.
Our gratitude to all that help sponsor our work. We give thanks for all that assist us in this task. We are not alone on the journey of sharing our faith and caring for all peoples.
We ask everyone who cares to help our children. Even a small amount of money can get it better.
