34 needy families received food and clothes at ICHC

14 foster families attended a class for foster families

Dear friends!

November is usually a month filled with interesting events at ICHC. We're getting ready for our Christmas performances which this year are going to be a big musical festival (where all the songs and dances will be devoted to Christmas). Orphans from different orphanages of Udmurt republic take part in it: they already learn songs and make dances with the guidance of our theatre group director. The main goal of it all is to show to the audience that all people are to celebrate Christmas as it walks around the earth coming to each house and every living soul. We are inviting 1500 kids from different orphanages of Udmurtia and poor families of Izhevsk to come and see our Christmas concert on the 8th of January, 2019. Also, orphans are going to participate in Paintings exhibition named "Christmas in children's eyes". Many of them have already sent and will send more drawings and paintings about Christmas - they can already reflect on it and try to create Christmas atmosphere on their own. We wish them to think about Christmas even before it is here. All the activities of our project this year are aimed at getting kids involved with participation as much as they can be. Every child invited to our performances and whose who took part in the Exhibition and the concert are going to get sweet Christmas gifts. We want to share the joy of Christmas with everyone! Let's celebrate it together!

Besides the preparation for Christmas performances we still continue helping needy families of Izhevsk and women in crisis. In November we helped 34 poor families with food, clothes, formula for babies, some medicine. We also have groups for moms working at ICHC according to "The most excellent way" and "Mother's wisdom" programs.

Besides that, in November we work for foster parents and those who adopted a child. 14 foster families attended our Club this month and received some useful information about sane and healthy parenting as well as some practical training on effective ways of interaction with kids. We have two Christian psychologists who help parents grow spiritually and emotionally and learn new patterns of healthy relationships. We also have our volunteers who help adopted kids in this branch of ministry. At the end of December we're going to have a two-day trip to a recreation and sport center named Chekeril (outside of the city) for foster parents and adopted kids. We hope it can be a pleasant Christmas present for them and a nice opportunity to have a good time altogether!

We are very thankful to everyone who supports us in our ministry! We hope you had happy Thanksgiving moments together with your family and friends and we wish you a Merry Christmas to come!

May the Lord bless you!
