The International Center for Hope & Charity

October 2011

Back
What can be more beautiful than a quiet forest in the fall? The smell of pine needles in the air, glimpses of yellow and purple fallen leaves, and partly coloured mushroom caps....Children from 'The Republic Children's Home of Izhevsk' came to see and feel the beauty of the Autumn forest with volunteers and staff of ICH during the middle of October. They walked in the forest, played sports, participated in Scout Rope Courses and discussed topics which are interesting to kids. They also talked about God's role in their lives and made sketches on those topics and other topics.

ICH continued its work and ministry during October. Weekly meetings are held at The Center for the groups: Psychological Support for Disabled Children's Mothers and Foster Parents; meetings for graduates from orphanages with our volunteers, and volunteers meet with orphans.

14 needy families from Izhevsk received assistance with food packages, clothes, and vitamins for children.

We have begun to prepare for our annual charitable Christmas Project for orphans and children from poor families and handicapped from Izhevsk and Votkinsk. The performances will take place at the beginning of January, 2012. We are now having the rehearsals with the young actors of our theatre group, getting the costumes made and buying the candies for gifts that we will form at The Center.

Thanks to all of our volunteers and sponsors! To all that support our ministry-"THANKS!!! May the Lord bless you all.
