Dear friends!

We follow traditions of transparency for NGOs and today are telling you about ICHC work in October.

In October 14 needy families came to our office asking for help. Those were families raising many children or handicapped kids or finding themselves in a situation when parents couldn’t find a job. All the families received assistance with basic food products, household and hygiene items, diapers for babies and essential medicine for kids. Each time of assistance is a chance to tell people about God’s love and an opportunity for Galina Alieva to witness God’s mercy and wisdom. We’re blessed to have such opportunities!

Parents of our Foster Parents Club that gather together regularly in the office, had an outdoor event in the beginning of October. Parents along with the adopted children took advantage of the beautiful fall weather that happened in Izhevsk at that time. Altogether they spent some time in the park next to the lake, talked and played with each other, with the help of volunteers and our Christian psychologist. They also had a session of art therapy and tried to look at themselves through God’s eyes.

ICHC also helped a family bringing up a handicapped boy pay travel costs to go to the rehabilitation center and get a course.
Moreover, we bought a convertible armchair-bed for one of our volunteers - a woman who has been very sick lately, but for many years she has been a script writer and author of our Christmas performances and did a lot for us to realize this wonderful project.

And meanwhile, Christmas is coming soon! We’re looking forward to having our charitable Christmas performances and sweet gifts for 1500 orphans and children of needy families of Izhevsk.

So far we have been preparing for our Christmas performances quite intensely - our theatre and dance group take rehearsals twice a week, ICHC staff bought almost all the candy for the gifts and now our volunteers are counting the quantity to be able to start forming the gifts in the beginning of December.

We really hope the situation gets more stabilized from the point of view of public health and we can actually have our Christmas performances taken place in the early January 2022.

Would you please pray for this project with us!

We’re very grateful to everyone who supports our ministry financially and prayerfully! Thank you! We couldn’t have done anything without you!

Stay strong and healthy! May the Lord keep you in peace!
