At the beginning of April, 2012, ICH organized a 3-days trip to Selychka for 21 orphans aged 13 to 16 from Republic Orphanage of Izhevsk. 15 volunteers of the Hopecenter participated in it. All together they discussed topics of friendship and relationships, talked in small groups and also showed their capabilities and talents in sketches and mime, as well as breathed in the scent of pines in the forest. Also orphans took part in sport competitions and played snow balls (last time this Winter-Spring-time!) and helped with firewood. We hope that this trip will be memorable for children, and what’s for sure – we had a lot of fun together!

Except this, ICH worked as before: we held meetings of psychological support for mothers of disabled kids, meetings for Foster parents, and our volunteers met at the office to talk about future Summer camp for orphans.

17 needy families received assistance with food packages, clothes and vitamins for the kids.

At the Hopecenter (Votkinsk) the Club for children from poor families with many kids took place weekly. At the meetings kids play with volunteers, talked to them and volunteers try to help them find answers for their questions. After each meetings they have tea altogether. Also a meeting for parents of many children with a psychologist was organized at the office.
