Hello dear friends!

It’s time to share some of our April news with you as the month was quite eventful for ICHC.

28 families in need received assistance at ICHC with basic food – 16 large food sets and 12 standard ones. Besides that, 24 families got help with household & hygiene items and 8 families raising babies or toddlers received big packages of diapers. This kinds of products are rather expensive in Izhevsk and needy people are always very grateful for getting them. It allows them to save money for other things so that it would be easier for them to overcome complicated circumstances they face in life. More than that, this help is a chance for us to share God’s love and truth with the people. And it is a blessing for them and for us!

On the 10th of April a presentation of Foster Parents Club took place at ICHC. There were some special guests from the small city of Mozhga located in the south of the Udmurt Republic. Seven adoptive parents as well as a worker of the city Administration came over to get to know better ICHC work and meet the psychologists and the president Galina Alieva.

The meeting was quite productive – both parties agreed for possible future cooperation in the profit of adoptive families of Mozhga.

On the 18th of April a meeting for adopted teenagers was organized at ICHC. It was sort of a so called “movie-training” – an event where teenages watched “A Walk to Remember” movie and then with the aid of psychologists they discussed the most important parts and ideas of it. Our aim was to emphasize the significance of pure love, faithfulness and moral qualities that are really beautiful in our world. We are thankful to every young girl who joined us in the meeting.

In the framework of “Let’s be merciful” program ICHC assisted two families – one that raise a handicapped girl received help to pay the treatment needed to maintain her health; another one received assistance with seven packs of formula for their baby.

We thank everyone who supports International Center for Hope & Charity in any way – with your personal efforts, financially or in prayer! A simple Thank You just doesn’t cover the depth of our gratitude! We couldn’t have done it without you!

Stay in health and peace from the Lord!
