Report on ICHC work in April-May 2023
Intl’ Center for Hope & Charity continues supporting families in a difficult life situation in Izhevsk, Russia.
As before, we work according to “Home Where Love Belongs” Charitable Program that consists of 4 projects.
1
In the framework of “GIVING A HAND” Project:
30 families received food assistance, including
24 families who received personal hygiene products and household chemicals,
8 families with young children who received baby diapers.
Moreover, we have expanded the assistance provided for a family in need: now people in difficult life situations can get vitamins for adults and children. Three large families have already received such a set.
For many of those people a visit to ICHC becomes the time when they learn about the love of God and His salvation. It is also an opportunity for them to share their emotions and troubles with Galina Alieva who is always eager to listen and give a piece of advice based on the values of Christianity.

As a part of “LET’S BE MERCIFUL” Project:
ICHC helped a young orphan girl of 23 years of age with two children in purchasing baby formula for her younger child. Also two families in which children with disabilities are brought up received assistance in paying for medicines and special lenses for the children.

For “FUTURE BEGINS TODAY” where ICHC works with orphans and adoptive families, ICHC implemented the following events.
In April, for the members of the Foster Parents Club which is also called “These Children Aren’t Somebody Else’s Children”, a meeting was held with our Christian psychologist Olga, at which they discussed the separation of adolescents - healthy and timely separation of growing up children from their parents. The way the Bible looks at it and what support / level of freedom we should provide for our grown up teenagers to help them live a happy adult life.
In May, a skin care master class was held for members of the Club: young teenage girls and mothers from foster families met - together with the master and cosmetologist Elvira Busygina, they learned the features of the structure and work of our skin, discussed ways to take care of the skin of the face, especially tender and vulnerable in adolescents’ case, and learned simple methods of maintaining the skin in a healthy condition. That was one of the ways women could use to take care of their souls – through their bodies.
Also, within this project, some household equipment was purchased for labor education of orphans in the Krasnogorsky orphanage, Udmurt Republic: on the territory of the orphanage there is an educational and experimental site where children, under the guidance of a labor instructor and educators, grow vegetables, flowers, medicinal plants. ICHC acquired equipment for organizing the educational process of orphans and hopes that children will be happy to use it and spend some time in the fresh air.

As for “CHRISTMAS” Project, in April and May, the first discussions of the future Christmas play, the approval of the script and key positions in the production of the future Christmas play took place. We so look forward to this project as it always brings a lot of joy to so many people, both children and adults, and we want to make the performances fascinating and spectacular as we share the story of Christ’s birth!
