At the beginning of December, 2007, the staff visited "Izhevsk City Asylum" to honor them on their 13th birthday. ICH presented them with dolls, toys and doll baby carriages.
The most remarkable event of December was the "Charitable Christmas project" for orphans and children fr om needy families of Izhevsk. On December 22, ICH organized three (3) Christmas performances with gifts for every orphan that attended. The music was composed and the scenario was written specially for the performance. The actors were the youth of the "Christian Theatre Group-Pritcha." After the performance, the entertainment program was held by the actors of "The Palace of Culture" wh ere the performances took place. More than 1500 orphans attented the parties and were so happy to receive gifts.
There will be another Christmas Party in Votkinsk on January 6, 2008. ICH is expecting more than 360 orphans to attend.
There were 8 needy families assisted in Votkinsk with food and clothing.
The International Center for Hope congratulates everyone on the coming year and wishes all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
