FEBRUARY + MARCH 2023
Dear friends!
Today we would like to tell you about ICHC news in February and March, 2023.
As before, we work on several charitable projects:
- "Helping hand": helping families in a difficult life situation with food, personal hygiene products and household chemicals, diapers for babies;
- "The future begins today": meetings for parents and children at the Club for adoptive families and adopted kids;
- "Let's be more merciful": targeted assistance for treatment or rehabilitation for a child or a single large parent, travel cost to the place of treatment/rehabilitation for a sick child and his accompanying person.
So in February and March
34 families in a difficult life situation received help with basic food in ICHC, of which
27 people - received hygiene and household chemicals kits and
8 families – got diaper packs for babies.
4 refugee families also received assistance.
Among people we help there are large, incomplete, low-income families, as well as young people who are having difficulty getting a job, making both ends meet and need help, including young men and women from among the former pupils of orphanages. This project works thanks to the regular support of our partners and friends, and we are very grateful for your help!
In early February, a training session was held for mothers participating in our Adoptive Parents Club. The women shared their news and underwent psychological diagnostics.
As part of the targeted assistance project, ICHC was able to support the refugee family and purchase medicines and rehabilitation products for them, and also helped to pay for treatment for a handicapped boy.
Today we decided to share with you some feedback from the beneficiaries (people who received assistance) about our work:
"You and your big team are doing such a great job! There is a lot of experience behind your shoulders, you always reach out. Health to you and many upcoming years! " – Tatyana, a handicapped boy’s mother, also a volunteer at Christmas performances.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH for helping our special girl. I am incredibly happy that we will go to another (unfortunately, far from the last) rehabilitation. " – Larisa, a girl’s with special needs mom.
"We express our endless gratitude to the entire team of the International Center of Hope & Charity and its head personally, for their tangible help in paying the cost of expensive medicines necessary for our guardian boy, as well as in providing a food set and a set of household chemicals. You do good, warm with your warmth, give hope for the bright tomorrow of everyone who found himself in a difficult life situation, and this is worth a lot! Many thanks!!!" – Alla, a boy’s with disabilities grandmother, also a guardian.
Thank you very much! From the bottom of our hearts we thank the International Center for Hope & Charity!!! for the assistance provided to us at such a difficult moment for us (we found ourselves in a difficult life situation, when all the money was spent on a trip to Moscow, on the examination and treatment of our son). Your help is crucial for us!!! – Oksana, a handicapped boy’s mom
Your work is a big glory to God! – Valentina, adoptive mom.
You are a big blessing for so many people! – Yulya, a handicapped girl’s mom.
We thank all partners and friends who help us in the implementation of charitable work! All these words of gratitude are addressed to you as well.
We say thanks to everyone who donates finances, comes and helps as a volunteer, provides pro bono services! Your support is essential and important!
We really hope that despite the difficult current situation, together we can do more! THANK YOU!
