33 needy families received food and clothes at ICHC

Since February changes have started in ICHC!
Each week we meet desperate people who live in such poor conditions, that are objectively hard, and so far they aren't able to do anything about it that it makes us think more and more. We see how deep social distinctions are in our country and we feel we definitely have to help those who are in need. In February at ICHC not only can poor families with many kids get assistance with a bigger food pack than before (we continue giving the one that's consisting of 11 basic foods, but we added more meat, oil and other popular food), but also they receive a pack of hygiene and household items and diapers for babies if needed. For most of the families we accept it's become essential!
33 needy families of Izhevsk received such help at ICHC in February.
Except for helping needy, we try to do our best to fundraise for supporting families that bring up a sick child. In February we paid for round trip tickets for a sick boy that we've been helping since long ago, and his parents who accompanied him as well. This boy is a crystal boy as we call him as his bones are so fragile that he easily breaks them (that's the disease he's had since he was born). He regularly needs special rehabilitation that he gets in Moscow clinic four times a year. We try to assist him as we can. Also we bought medicine for a needy family whose child was sick too, as they had no one to help.
Besides, we hold a counseling ministry for foster parents and their adopted kids. We have two Christian psychologists that counsel such families and work with kids monthly. In February 10 foster families attended an event organized in the frame of this project.
