We work to help those who are hopeless.
People who need help are waiting for someone to assist.
You can get psychological help through the work of mutual- and self-support groups.
Christmas performances were presented on January 5th and January 9th, in Izhevsk and Votkinsk, Russia, Udmurtia Republic. 1200 orphans and children from needy families in the cities attended the performances. Gifts were given to each child as has been done for the past 9 years. This is an annual event that has been very successful and is a great joy for everyone that participated.
The Clubs continue to meet at ICH. Communication and healing is a major need in the area. "Moms of Disabled Children-Sunny Circle" also continues to meet as does "One Day Shelter" which leans toward the disabled children. The Club for "Graduates of the Orphanages" and "Foster Parenting Training" continue to meet, also.
The first month of the year, January, is always a busy month. It is a time for reports, assessments of programs, and for making new plans for the year. ICH is trying to use the past experiences to build and create new projects and charitable programs/projects for the year 2010.
During January, 18 poor and needy families from Izhevsk and Votkinsk received assistance of food and clothing and vitamins. Many continue to come to The Center for help and as always, the staff and volunteers are ready and willing to share food, clothings and faith with all that come.
Thanks to all that continue to help in our work. May the Lord be glorified.
We ask everyone who cares to help our children. Even a small amount of money can get it better.
