During the month of June, 2006, we at ICH assisted several needy families as well as continued with the repairs to the Office and Center. We also assisted Internoit/Orphanage School #2, #39 and the Child Rehabilitation Center with footballs, basketballs, toys and other summer sport kits.

But special attention was given to preparing for and organizing the Summer Camp for orphans in Selychka. The camp was held fr om June 23rd through July 3rd. We had 23 children from Internoit/Orphanage School #2 and this year, we had children from some needy families to participate. Our Volunteers and staff of ICH worked as tutors and youth leaders.

It has been a marvelous time of friendly contact, sport games, swimming in the pond, daily and evening gatherings to share faith, ideas and establishing close relationships. The children opened their hearts during the gatherings and some received Christ as their personal Savior. We all experienced His joyous presence. The staff of ICH and the children built friendly relationships wh ere trust was established as they shared their deepest feelings. These 10 days passed so quickly and the love of God and His mercy towards all of those who took part in the camp were felt by all. It was a bright testimony of His love.



The branch office of ICH - Vodkinsk also continues to function very well. From June, 12th until June, 21st Summer Camp was held for children aged 7-12 years old. 16 children from needy families that have many children took part. The children had a wonderful time playing different games, sports, visiting the various sites in Vodkinsk and developing strong relationships of trust and friendship.

The Vodkinsk office assisted 6 needy families during June, 2006 with clothes and food items.
