25 needy families received help with food and clothes
1 family received financial aid to pay their road tickets to Moscow for their kid's treatment
In May ICHC continues working according to the charitable program Home where Love Lives. Twice a week we accept needy people of Izhevsk and help them with food, clothes and shoes. This month we also helped one family with diapers and formula for the baby. In total, we helped 26 families in May.
In ICHC office we hold meeting of mutual support for coaddicted women and mothers of all ages (they work according to the program "The most excellent way" and "The wisdom of Mother". We also have a support group for foster parents that gather once a month to discuss difficult issues of upbringing an adopted child.
Our volunteers keep ministering for orphans in one of orphanages of Izhevsk. They visit with orphans, play with them, have fun together, talk to them about God's love and mercy. Now our volunteers are getting ready for summer trip to Selychka for orphans.
Also, we helped a family where a handicapped child is being raised to pay for a trip to Moscow clinic for the treatment and rehabilitation of the kid.
Also we began preparing for our annual Christmas performances for orphans and kids from needy families. The actors of our theatre group have already gathered together to distribute parts and discuss the details of the play. We hope it will be something awesome and kids will be excited to take part in it! We will tell them the Christmas story in a very new way. May the Lord help us.
