In MAY and JUNE 2024, the work and ministry of ICHC continues according to four charity projects:
A HELPING HAND Project:
15 families in a difficult life situation received assistance with food, personal hygiene items and household goods;
LET’S BE MERCIFUL Project:
three families where handicapped children are brought up received assistance in paying for special removable walking devices and courses of individual rehabilitation classes.
a four-year-old Maxim took a course of physiotherapy exercises,
a seven-year old Katya has started taking a course of individual defectological classes,
a teenager Taisiya received help in paying for removable joint immobilizers.
FUTURE begins TODAY Project
In May, a meeting for mothers of the Foster Parents Club took place in the office, where women guided by ICHC psychologists shared their news and discussed their issues in adoptive children upbringing and altogether tried to look at their situations from a Christian perspective.
Besides, on June 15, 2024, an organized trip to the recreation center in the village of Goliany on the banks of the Kama River in Udmurtia took place for Club members and their children. The trip was attended by 11 families with children, a psychologist and volunteers.
Children and parents spent time outdoors, sunbathed and went swimming in the river, in the afternoon the psychologist of ICHC held a movie training session, and women were able to devote some time to themselves while volunteers were keeping the children busy.
We hope we managed to give parents a little time off and allowed them to have a pleasant and sincere time with their children! We would like such trips to become a high-quality investment in children-parental relationships and would help increase children’s well-being.
We received some feedback on our work:
Here is what the mothers – participants of the Club tell about the trip:
It has been a miraculous time! We are so thankful to the Center for Hope & Charity!
Marianna, a foster mom of a teenage girl
I’m so thankful to God for our trip to Goliany! For the joy of fellowship, for our psychologists’ lessons, for the movies – above all, for everything! I love you all!

Natalia, a foster mom of 4 children

Larisa, a mom of 10 adopted children

CHRISTMAS Project
We usually begin getting ready for Christmas charitable performances long before the event itself. So we had a meeting where our director distributed the roles for the upcoming Christmas project, and our wonderful volunteers who compose music and record the soundtracks for the future performance started their work.
And in this newsletter we would like to tell you about our PRAYER GROUP!
There is a group of faithful Christians who have been praying here in our office once a week for over fifteen years! They keep praying for all the projects of ICHC as well as for all the supporters and volunteers! Their prayers are a precious gift to our center.
In May and June, meetings of ICHC prayer group continue: every Wednesday, Christians from the local church who decided to devote themselves to this ministry gather in ICHC office to cover with prayer all the charitable projects and ministries, all those in need who received help, as well as everyone who donates and financially supports the work of ICHC.
THANK YOU
We try our best to be helpful and help those who need it.
And we thank everyone who supports us! We appreciate everything you’ve done for us. We couldn’t have done this without you! Thank you!
