A 3 day trip to Camp in Selychka for 25 orphans was held at the beginning of November. The orphanage #2 in Izhevsk was the recipient of all the joys of camp this month. Volunteers and the children walked in the snow in the forest and played sports in the open air. Bible study and discussions between volunteers, counselors and children, which were important to the children, were held during this time. All in all, it was just a fun time.
November is a big and serious month for the staff at ICH and the volunteers. The preparations for Christmas projects that are held annually by The Center is underway and is a big operation. This year it will be held at the beginning of January, 2010. There will be several performances with gifts and sharing games and fun around the Christmas/New Year's Tree with several thousand orphans from regions all over the Udmurt Republic. The rehearsals of the performance are being held now; the music and scenario are written by the volunteers of The Center for Hope and the citizens of Izhevsk. In this group, there are some honored workers of culture. Christmas performances are going to take place in Izhevsk and Votkinsk. We are now busy with forming the gifts and buying the candies and toys.
At our branch office in Votkinsk, there was a holiday celebrating Mother's Day. 10 poor families in Votkinsk participated.
In November, 2009, 20 needy families were assisted with food, clothes and vitamins as a charitable aid from ICH.
We are thankful to everyone that supports our ministry. May the Lord bless you all.
