Back

ICH went to Selychka for a three-day-camp with orphans girls from the Republic orphanage of Izhevsk. It was a very good trip. There were only 15-16 year old orphan girls who attended the event. The girls and volunteers had an intense interaction, talked a lot and managed to open their hearts. many of the girls had very hard destinies - some were violated by their parents and now it is difficult for them to believe in God's love. There was a girl who was thrown out of the window at the age of 2 by her own mother, and at the age of 7 she was raped by her step father. We got acquainted with some of the girls just in Selychka - as they are new in the Orphanage, they have just been moved to the orphanage from another orphanage due to its closure. So in Selychka volunteers and girls baked buns and made pizza, as well as watched films like "Soul Surfer" and "God's not dead". They also talked with each other, played games and had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures of the trip. We believe that it won't be of no use for the girls and their future. And that there is a serious inner work that is taking place in their hearts right now. Our volunteers are growing up and mature in this ministry too. So this is a blessing for everyone, we really hope.

This month ICH helped 53 needy families with food and clothes.
