In October 2015 ICH helped 43 needy families with food, clothes, vitamins and other staff (among them 13 families of refugees from Ukraine and 30 poor families from Izhevsk). Weekly we hold meetings of volunteers for orphans in one of orphanages of Izhevsk. We have 4 groups of volunteers who meet with the little ones, kids aged 10-11, children of 13-14 years of age and teenagers of 15-17 y.o. In the end of October ICH organized a 3 day trip for 23 orphan boys, and this was a really good time of rest and conversations between boys and volunteers. They talked about friendship, lies that destroy relationships of friends and betrayal. Also they spent some time in the air, walking in the forest. Boys went to Russian banya too. A part this, ICH continues the self support program for women in difficult life situation - the "Mother's wisdom" and the "Exceptional way". Also we continue preparing for our Christmas project for orphans and children from poor families of Izhevsk that we hold each year at Christmas. Now ICH theatre group that consists of volunteers too is getting ready for a music performance called "The Story about a tsar Lubomusl, his servant Gorynya and Phelix the Christian". The director of the play is an honored culture worker of Udmurtia Uri Chubukov. We are also busy preparing costumes for the performance, and forming gifts for the orphans that are going to attend the parties. We are making 1200 gifts.
