31 needy families received food, household and hygiene items and diapers for babies

Dear friends!
It’s the end of the month, and this means we’re ready to tell you about the work and activities in ICHC, Izhevsk in October.
ICHC goes on helping needy families in difficult life situation with food, household and hygiene items, school supplies for kids and diapers for babies. This month 31 poor families of Izhevsk and Sarapul received such assistance. This turns to be essential for the people that come – sometimes such families raise up to 9 children, so they face quite a lot of issues and surely do need such help.
Weekly ICHC holds classes for women in crisis according to “The Most Excellent Way” Program. For many of them it’s a chance to realize their inner complexes and a means to find a way out.
Every month Foster parents Club gathers adoptive parents and children together for Christian counseling and mutual support. In October 12 women attended the meet-up to talk about Godly principles of parenting and interaction with kids.
Every year ICHC organizes a big Charitable Christmas performances for orphans and kids of poor families of Izhevsk. This year the event is planned for January 8, 2020. This date is close to Orthodox Christmas in Russia. We’re preparing 1450 gifts for kids and we’re expecting orphans not only to come and watch a musical performance, but also to take part in Art/Craft Exhibition where they can present their common works completed in any technique they’d like. The main goal for them is to reflect on Christmas as the story of Christ’s birth even before the day of the event. They also can perform with a dance on the entertaining program after the play. 15 orphanages from all over Udmurtia have already agreed to participate.
Almost all the candy are bought, many questions related to the event organization are settled, costumes are designed, the script is written, choreography of the performance is done. But there’s still a lot to do in order to make this day so very special for all the participants!
So would you please pray for all the orphans participating so that their hearts would be fulfilled with God’s grace, and also for ICHC team to continue to work with zeal and joy during this wonderful time of the year!
