As always, we start the report on the past month with quantitative indicators.
20 families in a difficult life situation received in-kind assistance at ICHC in October – they received essential food, hygiene and household items, diapers for young children. This included six refugee families, for whom we prepared special large sets of basic products and goods collected on the basis of their wishes.
We thank everyone who continues to support this branch of our work, in particular for regular financial assistance on this project.
As part of the "Let's be more merciful" project, ICHC acquired medicines for a refugee woman who was seriously injured and was unable to buy medicines on her own.
We continue to get ready for the annual charity Christmas project: every year at Christmas we organize a musical performance with sweet gifts for children from low-income families of Izhevsk and orphans from different orphanages in Udmurtia.
Every year, volunteers of our center form up to 1,500 sweet charitable gifts for children. Usually we buy sweets already in October-November in order to have time to purchase everything we need before raising prices and Christmas’ and New Year's excitement. This year was no exception. Despite the difficult economic situation, we plan to form 1200 charitable gifts and give them at the holiday to children after the performance. And we have already purchased almost everything we have planned.
Now rehearsals of the play take place several times a week under the direction of the main director of the play, Yuri Chubukov. And we still have a lot to do and organize!
Our main goal is to give children and adults a Christmas holiday, anticipation and the feeling of a miracle despite different life circumstances! We really hope we can do it!
