September is usually a busy month for ICHC. We are getting ready for our annual charitable Christmas performances for orphans and children from needy and poor families of Izhevsk. The plot of the play is ready. This year it is going to look more like a festival with many orphanages and theatre groups participating. We invited different orphanages from Izhevsk and all over Udmurt Republic to take part in it – 6 of them already agreed! We are expecting more of others to apply and participate with Christmas songs, dances, drawings and pictures. When preparing, children will meditate upon Christmas trying to catch the very idea of Christmas – the Savior Who came to this world. This will help them understand it to the utmost. And of course, each of the kids that we invite to come will get his sweet gift carefully prepared by our volunteers.

At the office, we started forming groups of women in difficult life situation – the classes for them are going to take place on Wednesday with the help of our faithful volunteers.

We continue to work with Foster families – we have a project of psychological support for them. Such families gather together at the office once a month to think over principal tasks of upbringing an adopted child, to learn better and wiser ways of parenting. We have two Christian psychologists that help them see their problems and goals within God’s perspective.

Also we keep having our reception days when we accept people who come to ICHC to ask for help. In September we helped 27 needy families with food, clothes and shoes. All the people we help are told about God and His love, plus they know that the food set they get at ICHC is a donation from many brothers and sisters in Christ. We thank everyone who helps us in our ministry!
