Autumn looks so bright here in Izhevsk and gives us its warmth and colors, and we share with you some of the news of ICHC in September.
Several families in a difficult life situation came to our office and received help in the form of basic food products, personal hygiene products and household items, diapers for babies.
Several families raising a handicapped child received assistance:
- a rehabilitation course (speech therapy massage) was paid for a 9-year-old Sasha,
- some high cost medicine was purchased for Varia and the travel costs to the place of treatment to the hospital in Moscow were paid for her and her mom,
- for 8-year-old handicapped boy Fedya and his mom, travel expenses to St. Petersburg to the clinic of rehabilitation course were paid.
These programs are implemented thanks to your support!
In mid-September, ICHC psychologist met with the members of the club "These children are not somebody else’s children": altogether the mothers discussed their latest news and shared some painful issues. Each counseling and self-support session is based on Christian principles, and ICHC psychologist teaches women how to look at their situations through God’s perspective. Besides, it is a safe place to share! We invite all foster parents who understand that they need support to participate in our Club!
We also continue to prepare for our every year charity which is ICHC Christmas project! Costumes, props, sets, rehearsals, recording soundtracks, buying sweets for 1,200 gifts for orphans and children from unfavorable families of Izhevsk... There are many questions and they are all in the process of being solved.
We are so thankful to all of our big team of volunteers for their well-coordinated work! We thank all volunteers who devote their time and efforts to the implementation of this project!
And we can’t say how much we are thankful to everyone who supports us financially! Thanks to your help, the Christmas charity project will take place!
