Summer 2020
90 families of Izhevsk got helped with basic food like canned meat, fish, pasta, rice, flour, sugar, oil and tea
41 families of Izhevsk got assisted with essential hygiene and household items
18 needy families received big packs of diapers for babies and toddlers
1 swimming pool was presented to Krasnogorsky orphanage
4 families struggling to raise kids with chronic illness were helped to purchase medicine, rehabilitation/treatment procedures or to buy tickets to the city where the clinic of treatment is located
Our Russian summer is usually quite short and cool, so we have to catch it in order to enjoy it for at least some time. Yet this summer has been rather tough for everyone especially because of the pandemic of COVID-19.
Nevertheless, we felt how much struggling Russian people, especially families with many kids, needed the help International Center for Hope could provide.
In the summer, ICHC had to redouble efforts to provide even more assistance as many families came to our office to ask for help. Many of them never received any support from the Russian State during the lockdown and weren’t going to. So our little private charity center who works thanks to God’s mercy and your contributions and donations, was ready on the front lines with all the support we could give them!
Thus, during June, July and August 2020 International Center for Hope & Charity:
● Helped 90 families of Izhevsk with basic food like canned meat, fish, pasta, rice, flour, sugar, oil and tea;
● Provided 41 families of Izhevsk with essential hygiene and household items;
● Supported 18 needy families with big packs of diapers for babies and toddlers;
● Presented a swimming pool to Krasnogorsky orphanage;
● Helped 4 families struggling to raise kids with chronic illness purchase medicine, rehabilitation/treatment procedures or to buy tickets to the city where the clinic of treatment is located.
Additionally, our creativity group continues to get ready for Christmas performances that will eventually happen in the very beginning of January 2021. The play is ready, music is chosen, the theatre group is full of actors and the choreographers have started to create the dances for the play! We have just had the costumes designed. Our work according to Christmas project has been quite active during the summer and promises to be even more exciting in the coming months.

Please pray for the general situation with coronavirus so our Christmas performances can safely take place and many orphans and children from needy families in Izhevsk can take part in it and touch the glory of the Lord during Christmas time!
